I’ve got to say, arriving in San Francisco, to its almost
wall of white fog and clouds, seemed like a bit of a culture shock as opposed
to the sunny districts of southern California but being back in the city felt
so good! The slightly muggy weather didn’t seem to matter after catching the
famous San Francisco trams in amongst the ever reaching skyline from the city centre
to the San Fran coast every day. Before the trip I really didn’t expect I would
come away thinking as highly of San Francisco as I have done, it is such a
unique city, full of history yet bursting with modern ideas. We managed to pack
so much into our short time here; I just hope I will have the opportunity to
come back here one day so I can explore this amazing city in even more detail.
Especially because I do regret not having enough time to really delve into the
shopping scene, I only saw glimpses of places like Haight Street but even in
then I saw how electric the atmosphere of each unique store was.
So this post is very forever21 orientated! This is mainly
because Downtown has a really big store, so I thought why not indulge in a few
treats while I’m here? The kimono is my favourite piece from this post. Its
black and velvet, enough said! Velvet always has and I think always will
be my guilty pleasure, I just can’t say
no to anything velvet, I mean I’ve already got my eyes on an asos velvet
jumpsuit for when my student loan comes in, it’s becoming a problem. What I really liked about the dress was its
small embellishments of netting which, as a simple dress, just gave it a little
emphasis. I just teamed it with small cute accessories as I wanted to keep the
whole look quite free and simple.
Next stop Vancouver and Washington state, we're heading way up North brrrr
