A Cracking Weekend

For the first time this year I am beginning to see signs of the summer approaching. After feeling a little deflated and unmotivated with my looming uni deadlines and depressing weather, a trip to the country has been just what I have needed and we couldn’t have picked a better weekend. It’s amazing what a little bit of sunshine, decent food and good company can do!

Waking up as a twenty year old to egg hunt clues was pretty eggcellent (excuse the egg related cracks). Scott’s Mum had covered the garden in chocolate treats and we couldn’t have been more eager to collect them in our Easter buckets. I must say though the highlight of this weekend for me must be adopting our new found friend, Mo Quacker (the duckling from the photo above) we met him along our trail of the Yorkshire Dales and he followed us for the whole trek. Avoiding the temptation of taking him home and adopting a chick as well to re-enact Joey and Chandler was almost too much but in the end we found him a new home with a little girl that lived in a nearby farm.

Shake yo' eggs it's Easter!

I just wanted to add a massive congratulations to Scott on becoming a home owner!
Proud of you x
